Insufficient Prajñā Precludes Direct Perception of Manas

When dwelling in the womb, before consciousness has emerged, what does the manas feel like, who can know? When in a coma, when reduced to a vegetative state, what does the manas feel like, who can know? When in the intermediate state (bardo), what does the manas feel like, who can know? After falling asleep, what does the manas feel like, who can know? Upon first awakening, what does the manas feel like, who can know? When encountering various events, what does the manas feel like, who can know? These dharmas are extremely profound and subtle; lacking sufficient insight, one cannot perceive them through direct observation.
