If Wisdom Is Insufficient, One Cannot Directly Observe the Manas

While in the mother's womb, before the mind consciousness has arisen, what does the manas feel? Who can know? When unconscious, when in a vegetative state, what does the manas feel? Who can know? What does the manas feel in the neutrino-body (antarā-bhava)? Who can know? What does the manas feel after falling asleep? Who can know? What does the manas feel upon just waking up? Who can know? What does the manas feel when encountering various things? Who can know? These dharmas are all very profound and subtle; without sufficient wisdom, they cannot be observed through direct perception.
