All Dharmas Are Merely Prajñapti

For example, a nation: a single individual cannot be called a nation. Since a single person is not a nation, and multiple people are not a nation, then even a billion people are not a nation. Where is the nation? It is a conventional designation! Therefore, all phenomena are conventional designations, without substantial reality. Except for Suchness.

Similarly, a single head cannot be called a person; a single arm cannot be called a person; a single leg cannot be called a person; and even when combined, they cannot be called a person. What is a person? There is no person! It is a conventional designation, without substantial reality! All phenomena are conventional designations, without substantial reality, except for Suchness.

What is a specific individual? There is no specific individual. The head, eyes, brain, and marrow are not the specific individual; the arms, legs, and feet are not the specific individual; thoughts, perceptions, concepts, feelings, and sensations are not the specific individual. Even when combined, they are still not the specific individual, yet this specific individual is not seen apart from these phenomena. If someone insults this specific individual, can they insult the specific individual? They cannot! If someone strikes this specific individual, can they strike the specific individual? They also cannot! The specific individual is void; both insults and blows are void! There is no such person or event.
