Every spiritual practitioner will go through various trials and tribulations

Every Buddhist practitioner will go through various trials and tribulations; this is inevitable. Contending with karma accumulated over countless eons is extremely difficult—even bodhisattvas who return to this world are no exception, for adverse conditions abound. Practicing is like rowing a boat against the current: it requires the courage to battle through fierce winds and towering waves, along with tenacious perseverance. Only with a bodhisattva's great vows can one avoid being crushed by the wind and waves.

"When the Way rises one foot, the demons rise ten." As long as one has the aspiration to advance, one will inevitably face trials. Whenever there is evident progress in practice, karmic obstructions are bound to manifest. One's own resolve for the Path and one's courageous diligence are inconceivable, and the Buddha's power is equally inconceivable. As long as one generates a long-enduring spirit of diligence, there will surely be the Buddha's protection, and demonic obstructions will be powerless against us. Believe this, and you can overcome all difficulties.

As the saying goes, without far-reaching foresight, one is bound to face imminent worries. As long as we look far ahead and focus on the future, the road beneath our feet becomes easier to tread, and the difficulties before us become easier to overcome.
