What Is the Oneness of Essence and Form?

The form of a thing and the nature of that thing are both True Suchness, the One True Dharma Realm. The form manifests from the four great seeds within the self-nature of True Suchness—it is the manifestation of True Suchness, its essence is True Suchness, and its nature is the nature of True Suchness. For example, a gold vessel is made of gold; its form is the form of gold, its nature is the nature of gold, and both nature and form are unified as gold.
