The Principle of Adhiṣṭhāna

Objects used by practitioners possess a certain blessing power and can bring others auspiciousness and peace of mind. This is because the items they touch and use carry the influence of their mental energy; their own minds being auspicious and tranquil causes the objects to acquire an auspicious and tranquil magnetic field. The higher the level of cultivation, the stronger and more beneficial this magnetic field becomes, inducing greater serenity and joy in those who encounter it. When others come into contact with such an object, they are influenced by its auspicious and tranquil magnetic field. Every item used by a person carries their own signal, their own information, as if objects possess memory. Some objects take on the characteristics of whoever uses them, and their physical properties change accordingly.
