What should you do if your mind is easily carried away by deluded thoughts in daily life? As long as there is a right mindfulness in your mind, focus single-pointedly on that right mindfulness and ignore the deluded thoughts; the mind will gradually settle and abide on right mindfulness, and meditative concentration (samādhi) will become complete. What is right mindfulness? It is a dharma you are currently contemplating deeply, or a thought free from greed, hatred, and delusion that can gather your consciousness at a single point, such as the method of contemplating mindfulness taught by the Buddha in the Satipaṭṭhāna Sūtra (the Sūtra on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness).
