In the practice of observing the five aggregates, the information from the observing consciousness is simultaneously transmitted to the manas. Initially, the manas may not comprehend it once or twice, but over time, it gradually understands and becomes influenced, eventually accepting the results of the observing consciousness. This occurs because the manas activates its unique function of deliberation and judgment. During meditative concentration, the manas can also engage in deliberation based on the observing consciousness's line of thought, either deliberating together with the consciousness, deliberating independently, or collaborating in deliberation. The more evidence the consciousness provides and the clearer the reasoning it articulates, the more profoundly the manas is influenced. Consequently, the manas becomes increasingly capable of independent deliberation, thereby working together with the consciousness to eradicate the view of self and ultimately attain enlightenment together.
