The eighth consciousness is profoundly challenging, acting as both father and mother, raising several little children. Thus, its capabilities also have limitations. It follows your actions, whether good or evil, little children, providing you with sustenance while allowing you to create karma. Consequently, the seven children have wandered through beginningless kalpas, creating evil without knowing to turn back. Yet the mother never abandons the child, mutually recognizing and cherishing one another.
