What is called "prthagjana" (the differently-born)

Being differently-born means being born at a different time, in a different place, and in a different class — that is, after death, one is born at another, different time, in a different location, and in a different class of existence, receiving different karmic retribution. A different time means taking rebirth after the neutrino-body (antarā-bhava) has ended; a different place — perhaps in the heavens, perhaps in hell, perhaps in the form realm, or perhaps on some other celestial body, none of which is certain; a different class means a different identity among the six realms of existence — perhaps as a human, or a deva, or a ghost, or an animal, or an asura, and this too is not certain.
