All wealth is stored in the computer of the eighth consciousness. When manas does not function, wealth does not manifest. When manas seeks wealth, desires worldly phenomena within the three realms, or aspires to attain Buddhahood, the eighth consciousness transports all wealth forth, supplying it for manas to enjoy. Manas, in turn, enjoys this wealth through the six consciousnesses and the five aggregates, regarding the five aggregates and the six consciousnesses as itself and as tools for its own use, much like how the hands and feet serve the body. All dharmas are for the use of manas; the eighth consciousness does not use them. It is manas that clings to all dharmas and needs all dharmas. Manas is the greatest "I". If it ceases to regard itself as "I," nor regards the five aggregates and the six consciousnesses as "I" or "mine," nor regards all dharmas as "I" or "mine," then everything will be fine. Attachment to self and dharmas will be completely severed, and one will attain Buddhahood with ease.
