Studying Buddhism Is Not About Idolizing Public Figures

If a Buddhist practitioner lacks reason and wisdom, possesses a mentality of blindly admiring the fame of celebrities, and enjoys memorizing their words without engaging in personal contemplation, then one's own thinking and reasoning will easily become obstructed and blocked. This hindrance may persist even into future lifetimes, making it difficult to break through these limitations. Only to waste one's own spiritual cultivation—is this not a pity!
