Learning Buddhism Is Not About Celebrity Worship.

If a Buddhist practitioner lacks rationality and wisdom, harbors a mentality of worshipping famous people and their fame, and likes to memorize the writings of celebrities without engaging in deliberation with one's own mind, then one's own thinking and train of thought will easily be restricted and obstructed. Even in later lives and the lives after those, it will be very difficult to break through these restrictions, merely delaying one's own progress on the Path—how regrettable that would be!
