Clinging to All Dharmas Is Not as Good as Living in Accordance with Conditions

After an Arhat attains Nirvana, not a single hair remains. When the mental faculty ceases, it takes all dharmas with it, and nothing exists anymore. The remaining eighth consciousness has no form whatsoever; even the Buddha's eye cannot perceive it. Since everything apart from the eighth consciousness, Tathagatagarbha, is impermanent, transient, and destined to perish eventually, why should we cling so greedily? How much better it would be to live in accordance with conditions!
