The Meditative Concentration (Samādhi) of the Manas

Master Kuiji entered samādhi in a previous life for several thousand years—if the manas were not settled, how could he have remained in samādhi for thousands of years? In this samādhi there are no six consciousnesses, otherwise one could not remain in it for long. The meditative concentration of the non-Buddhists is also very powerful, capable of remaining in samādhi for eighty thousand great kalpas. This at the same time proves that the manas corresponds with the mental factor of meditative concentration (samādhi).
