Direct Observation and Practice Leads Solely to Self-Realization and Self-Knowledge

Question: Regarding the direct experiential observation of the Manas and the Tathāgatagarbha, can it only be achieved through logical inference? For those trained in scientific thinking, I'm afraid this may not be fully acceptable!

Answer: Direct experiential observation is like drinking water—only the drinker knows its temperature. As for whether others accept or agree with it, there is nothing to be done about that.
