Is the Sixth and Seventh Consciousnesses within Tathāgatagarbha, or Is Tathāgatagarbha within the Sixth and Seventh Consciousnesses?

If the Tathāgatagarbha resides within the sixth and seventh consciousnesses, do these consciousnesses possess a center? How is the position of this center determined? If the sixth and seventh consciousnesses reside within the Tathāgatagarbha, does the Tathāgatagarbha possess a center? How is the position of this center established?

The entire aggregate of the five skandhas and eighteen dhatus of each individual is formed by the Tathāgatagarbha using the seven fundamental elements. These seven fundamental elements are dharmas within the Tathāgatagarbha. While it is said that the seven fundamental elements manifest to form various dharmas, in reality, these seven elements never depart from the Tathāgatagarbha. If they did, independent dharmas would exist outside the Tathāgatagarbha, not upheld by it, which is impossible. Since the seven fundamental elements do not exist outside the Tathāgatagarbha, yet continuously undergo birth, cessation, and transformation within the five skandhas and eighteen dhatus of sentient beings, could these five skandhas and eighteen dhatus exist outside the Tathāgatagarbha? Do independent dharmas exist outside the Tathāgatagarbha?

The meaning of the One True Dharma Realm is that the entire world of sentient beings is a single true Dharma Realm, the Tathāgatagarbha. All are dharmas within the Tathāgatagarbha; there are no dharmas independent of the Tathāgatagarbha. Although the concepts of inside and outside are used, the Tathāgatagarbha itself transcends inside and outside. The whole is Suchness; no external can be found, and thus there is no relative inside.
