The meaning of True Suchness refers to the original state of the Dharma realm, the true existence and immutable nature of the Dharma realm, the reality as-it-is of the Dharma realm, and the inherent nature of the Dharma realm. The Dharma realm refers to the boundary of all dharmas, the limit of all dharmas, the defining scope of all dharmas. All dharmas are essentially unified as the Tathagatagarbha; they are all of the nature of the Tathagatagarbha.
Why are all dharmas of the nature of the Tathagatagarbha? Because all dharmas are born and transformed by the Tathagatagarbha; it is the Tathagatagarbha that perfectly manifests all dharmas using the seven fundamental elements. All dharmas are of the nature of the seven fundamental elements, which is the nature of the Tathagatagarbha. The Tathagatagarbha manifests all dharmas in accordance with karmic seeds, without violating the laws and operating principles of the Dharma realm. While operating all dharmas, the mind of the Tathagatagarbha remains unmoved by them, perpetually maintaining the purity and stainlessness of its original mind, preserving its inherent true immutability, and abiding in unwavering Suchness.
Although all dharmas have their respective conventional appearances, in essence, they are still the appearance of the Tathagatagarbha, which is the appearance and nature of True Suchness. Therefore, all dharmas are collectively called the One True Dharma Realm. Superficially, all dharmas seem to be subject to birth, death, and change; they seem to be in motion. In reality, however, they are unmoving, neither increasing nor decreasing, neither changing nor differing. No matter how turbulent or active the conventional world may be, the Dharma realm remains as it is, quiet and still, serenely unmoving. Therefore, why should we be agitated? What should we seek? What should we grasp? Calm the mind, live in accordance with conditions without even the notion of living, and one will accord with the nature of True Suchness, attaining tranquil liberation.
