When one cultivates to attain the wisdom of consciousness-only seeds, upon contact with another person, they can perceive a portion of that individual's karmic seeds. This enables them to understand the general circumstances of that person's past lives and to discern the probable conditions of their future existence, often making remarkably accurate judgments about people. Two Tathagatagarbhas can communicate with each other. A person possessing the wisdom of consciousness-only seeds can perceive the general situation of another through their own consciousness-mind accessing their own Tathagatagarbha. For those without this wisdom, it is very difficult. Therefore, sometimes, sentient beings themselves are not yet aware of their own mental conduct, yet others already know it, understanding them even more than they know themselves. When a person speaks, they themselves may feel it is insignificant, yet much of their information is revealed without their awareness. Information about others can be perceived from various aspects, though face-to-face interaction naturally yields greater accuracy. Observing the other person's facial features, expressions, speech, manifested and unmanifested forms, appearance, demeanor, subtle aura, and so on allows for a more comprehensive and precise understanding. All these are wisdoms that the Tathagatagarbha bestows upon the consciousness-mind.
