How to Eradicate Self-Grasping?

Only when the self-grasping is completely eradicated and the grasping at dharmas is completely eradicated can there be thorough selflessness; otherwise, the "self" within the mind will not cease. When there is thorough selflessness, the manas completely transforms consciousness into wisdom; with a self, wisdom is not ultimate, and there is still foolishness. The heavier the self, the heavier the nature of foolishness. If one wants to eradicate foolishness and eradicate self-grasping, one must give more consideration to others and not have every thought be about oneself; it will not do for the mind to contain nothing but oneself with no others.
