The Meditative Concentration of the Tathāgatagarbha

As for the meditative concentration of the tathāgatagarbha, through observation one can know that it is extremely powerful. In the operation of all dharmas, no matter what states it encounters, suchness is immovable; let the winds blow from east, west, south, or north, it remains serene and unmoved; even with Mount Tai pressing down upon it, its waist does not bend. Regardless of any conflicts or disputes, right or wrong, it simply pays no heed, moving freely along in accordance with the established laws. The Buddha said that it is the great Śūraṅgama-samādhi—it never emerges from concentration nor needs to enter concentration, being unmoved and unshaken in all dharmas, unrivaled, a true mountain of treasure.
