The six sense objects are divided into inner object-aspects of the six sense objects and outer object-aspects of the six sense objects. This division into inner and outer is relative to the first seven consciousnesses, and also applies to sentient beings who possess supreme faculties (rūpa-prasāda). From the perspective of the tathāgatagarbha, the six sense objects have no division into inner and outer; the six sense-object realms seen by the tathāgatagarbha are all seen as the structures of the four great seeds, without seeing the object-aspects. All dharmas operate within the mind of the tathāgatagarbha and can never go beyond the mind—there are no dharmas outside the mind. This is the meaning of "no dharmas outside the mind."
