In every field and profession within the secular world, those who have achieved success are invariably individuals possessing considerable Chan concentration. Focused single-mindedly in concentration, undistracted by anything else, they readily experience inspiration and creativity, thereby becoming recognized by others as geniuses and achievers. The inspiration and creativity mentioned here generally originate from the manas (mind root). While it begins with the conscious mind's conception and intellectual understanding, ultimately, the conscious mind becomes ineffective, yet it stimulates the wisdom and potential of the manas, resulting in the emergence of an excellent creation. The process of thinking and creation within profound Chan concentration is far beyond the ordinary intellectual understanding of people without concentration. This is the specific distinction that sets geniuses apart from ordinary people.
