Who Truly Understands the Accumulation of Hidden Merits?

The actions a person performs, the words they speak, and the thoughts in their mind are all known to beings with spiritual powers, including deities, ghosts, spirits, heavenly beings, asuras, rahus, mahoragas, and others, as well as those with spiritual powers, great arhats, pratyekabuddhas, bodhisattvas, and Buddhas. Additionally, Dharma protectors and others, along with bodhisattvas without spiritual powers but with high wisdom, can also perceive them. However, what knows these actions most meticulously, comprehensively, and accurately is undoubtedly one's own Tathagatagarbha. Simultaneously with knowing, it records everything, transforming it into karmic seeds. When these karmic seeds mature, the corresponding karmic retribution manifests. Therefore, if you don't want others to know, the only way is to refrain from doing it yourself. Good deeds need not be proclaimed, and misdeeds cannot be concealed—all are laid bare under the broad daylight.
