Śūraṅgama Sūtra, Volume 10: The Delusive Construction of Pervading and Interpenetrating

Original text: 由汝念虑。使汝色身。身非念伦。汝身何因。随念所使。种种取像。心生形取。与念相应。寤即想心。寐为诸梦。则汝想念。摇动妄情，名为融通。第三妄想。

Explanation: Because of your deliberations, your material body can be driven by them. The body is not of the same kind as your mental thoughts, yet why is your body driven by your thoughts? When the mind takes various images of sense objects, the shapes of those images appear in the mind, corresponding with what the mind thinks. When awake, it is the mind's thoughts; when asleep, they become various dreams. Thus your thoughts stir your own deluded emotions; this is called the pervading and connecting—the third deluded thought. This says that the aggregate of perception is the deluded thought of pervading and connecting.
