Benefiting Others Is Benefiting Oneself

There is a principle everyone should remember: the more benefit others obtain from you, the more benefit you will correspondingly receive in return—a reward of a thousandfold or more; if others cannot obtain any benefit from you, then you have no benefit to gain. Therefore, in order to gain benefit for yourself, you must do everything possible to benefit others. Selfishness is self-harm; benefiting others is benefiting oneself.
