The Semblance of a With-Substance Realm as the Object of the Sixth Consciousness

When the mind cognizes form, it is like a "derived dependent object" (似带质), where the object-aspect arises from a single source in the middle. This refers to the function of the six consciousnesses in seeing forms. The object-aspect only manifests within the mind of the six consciousnesses and is not transmitted further downward—it stops here. Because it is already false and has no substance, how could something without real dharma be transmitted further? What real matters or real dharmas exist in the world? Once seen through, in a single thought one transcends instantly, and everything returns to emptiness and stillness; from then on, all is peace under heaven.
