The Difference Between Anutpattika-dharma-kṣānti and Dharmanirodha-kṣānti

The endurance of non-arising is the endurance in recognizing that the five aggregates are produced and sustained by the Tathagatagarbha, the endurance in recognizing that the five aggregates are empty, illusory, and devoid of self, and the endurance in recognizing that the Tathagatagarbha neither arises nor ceases, yet gives rise to all phenomena, abiding within the five aggregates, being reborn as their own five aggregates life after life. According to the degree of realization, this is limited to the three virtuous stages and has not yet entered the noble stages.

The endurance of the non-arising of dharmas, on the basis of the endurance of non-arising, is the realization that all dharmas likewise do not arise, the realization of the consciousness-only nature of all dharmas, and the subduing of self-attachment (not eradicated), thereby initially entering the noble stages to abide steadfastly without regression.
