Which Vijñāna is Responsible for the Function of Spontaneous Utterance?

Which consciousness functions when words are blurted out? Is it the six consciousnesses or the seventh consciousness that dominates? It is the function of the seventh consciousness, Manas. When it contacts sense objects, it immediately recognizes the perceptual objects, makes decisions, and reacts, leaving no room for the sixth consciousness (Manovijñāna) to reconsider or deliberate further. It acts arbitrarily and makes decisions alone, and the six consciousnesses immediately obey. Later, one may regret it. This occurs when the sixth consciousness analyzes and reflects afterward, feeling that the previous action was improper and too reckless, thus leading to regret.
