The five aggregates, the eighteen realms, and the twelve sense bases all arise from the convergence of various conditions; when the conditions disperse, they vanish. How is this principle to be realized and internalized? The mind consciousness can think it over and grasp the general idea, yet you yourself also know that this is not genuine understanding—it still requires a deep and definite clarity of its meaning, grounded in reason and evidence. This calls for, within meditative concentration (samādhi), suspending this principle in your mind and letting the manas deliberate single-pointedly, deliberating continuously and densely at every moment. The manas's deliberation is hidden, continuous, and unattached to sense objects, possessing a certain height and depth—this is called "viewing from a high vantage point."
