The Speculations of the Mind Consciousness Are Not Actual Realization

With a telescope one can gaze at the farthest reaches of the starry sky, behold the vast and boundless ocean, and see the mountains, rivers, and lands at the horizon's edge—but the body remains separated by far more than a thousand mountains and ten thousand rivers. However far and high one sees, it does not mean being there in person. A set goal is not reached by pointing a finger, nor by mere empty talk; it must be measured with one's feet, so one must always set out and walk. Walk step by step—no running, no jumping, and certainly no leaping—only thus can one arrive safely at the destination. Do not complain that the road is long and resort to the mind consciousness's idle imaginings; do not complain of hardship and resort to the mind consciousness's idle imaginings; still less complain that the travel fare is expensive and resort to the mind consciousness's idle imaginings. Fantasies are, in the end, nothing but illusions. If you wish to reach the royal land, you must let the manas tread firmly on the ground, measuring it step by step and personally touching every inch of the earth.
