Where Does a Person's Charisma Come From?

Question: If a person is especially tranquil and peaceful, the people around him will also quickly become quiet and feel very comfortable in his presence. This person does not seem to have anything particularly special about him, yet he has a kind of infectious influence. Why is this? 

Answer: A person whose mind-consciousness is tranquil has the power to attract and bless others, has a good energy field, and thus has a good influence. He emits a relatively bright and gentle light from his body. Although the people around him cannot see it, they can absorb this pure and peaceful light, and their state of mind will become pleasant, comfortable, and peaceful, and their bodies will also become pure and healthy. Ghosts and spirits with the divine eye can tell from the light emitted by a person's physical body whether this person has cultivation and spiritual attainment, and can see whether this person's virtue is good or bad. Ghosts and spirits naturally respect and admire those with good virtue, while looking down on those whose virtue and cultivation are poor, and may even bully them. Devas and the great bodhisattvas with supernatural powers can discern even more clearly from the light of a person's outward appearance what level of spiritual cultivation this person has attained.
