Listening to Sutras and Hearing the Dharma to Eradicate Ignorance

Sentient beings lack wisdom and intelligence because they do not listen to sutras or hear the Dharma. Their exposure is limited, and they do not understand the true meaning of the Dharma or the truths of the world. Consequently, they lack intelligence and wisdom. If we wish to possess wisdom, we must diligently study the Dharma, frequently listen to sutras and hear the Dharma, and delve deeply into the scriptural treasury. Only then will wisdom arise, and wisdom will become as vast as the sea. By earnestly accepting the Buddha’s words, listening to sutras, and hearing the Dharma more often, we can understand one principle, eradicate one ignorance, and reduce one delusion. When body, speech, and mind are purified, the heart will be joyful and free from afflictions.
