Learning Buddhism Is Not About Celebrity Worship

If a Buddhist practitioner lacks rationality and wisdom, and has a mentality of worshipping famous people and their fame, delighting in memorizing the words of celebrities without engaging in one's own reflection and contemplation, then one's own thinking and train of thought will easily be restricted and obstructed. It will be very difficult to break through these restrictions even in later lives and the lives after those, merely delaying one's progress on the Path—how regrettable that would be!
