Clinging to and craving the myriad dharmas is not as good as living each day in accord with conditions

After an arhat enters nirvāṇa, not even a single hair remains. When the manas ceases, it takes all dharmas away with it—nothing exists anymore. The remaining eighth consciousness has no marks whatsoever; even the Buddha's eye cannot perceive it. Since everything apart from the eighth consciousness, the tathāgatagarbha, is impermanent and not long-lasting—bound to perish sooner or later—why should we be so greedy and attached? How wonderful it is to simply live out our days in accord with conditions!
