The Five-Aggregate Body Is Originally a Golden House

Regarding the golden basin, each person sees it differently. Some see its golden nature: if they need gold ornaments, they take it to be made into gold ornaments; if they need gold bricks, they take it to be made into gold bricks. But the vast majority see only the appearance of the basin, using it to hold water or store food, and some even use it only to hold stolen goods.

The body of the five aggregates is originally a house of gold. The Buddhas use it to broadly benefit countless sentient beings, while sentient beings use it to harbor filth and impurities, failing to put it to good use.
