The fulfillment of thoughts and desires is achieved by the manas prompting the Tathagatagarbha to bring it to fruition, representing the realization of the manas's wishes. Within this process, there is conscious thought from the mind consciousness, as well as thought from the manas. The thoughts generated by the mind consciousness must undergo the decisive judgment and scrutiny of the manas. If the manas agrees, it then adopts the same thought. Consequently, the Tathagatagarbha cooperates with this thought, enabling the manas's desire to be fulfilled. If the thoughts of the mind consciousness fail to gain the manas's approval, and the manas does not desire it, then the conscious thought is in vain, amounting to useless effort. However, when the manas generates thoughts independently, the mind consciousness may not perceive them, yet these thoughts can still materialize. When fulfillment occurs, the mind consciousness might still remain unaware that it originated from thought. This constitutes the ignorance of the mind consciousness.
