A Child's Consciousness Also Discerning the Six Sense Objects

Teacher, may I ask: when a young child uses manas to respond to their surroundings, does consciousness take over as they grow up?

Answer: A child's consciousness also discriminates the objects of the six dusts. Even in the mother's womb, consciousness is present to discriminate.
