I have an attendant who stays with me day and night, serving me with utmost devotion and filial care in every way.
If I go east, He does not go west; if I sit or lie down, He does not stand.
If I eat, He does not drink tea; if I see objects, He does not hear sounds.
If I become a human, He does not become a ghost; if I ascend to heaven, He does not enter the earth.
If I do good, He helps me accumulate virtue; if I commit evil, He lends me strength.
If I practice cultivation, He follows me beyond the worldly; if I follow the mundane flow, He enters the secular with me.
If I contemplate, He bestows upon me seeds of consciousness; if I calm my mind, He grants me life and warmth.
If I seek pleasure, He rejoices with me; if I seek death, He also complies with me.
All secrets are fully known to Him; He proclaims good deeds and does not conceal evil ones.
People say He is foolish, but in truth He is selfless—fair, just, and equal without distinction.
Attaining Buddhahood depends on Him; transmigration relies on Him. Accomplishment is due to Him; becoming human is also due to Him.
The Buddha-lands of all Buddhas are accomplished by Him; the hells of Yama are transformed by Him.
Immeasurable virtues gather within Him alone; whether praised or blamed, He pays no heed.
His Self-nature is pure, untouched by worldly dust; in sages, He does not increase; in ordinary beings, He does not decrease.
Purity and defilement coexist, yet His essence remains unstained; He does not admire Buddhas nor abandon foolish beings.
Through countless kalpas, He remains nameless; His mind-nature is selfless. His lifespan is endless, neither born nor extinguished.
Though fully endowed with all dharmas, He gains nothing; He is a priceless treasure yet enjoys not a fraction.
Originally noble and exalted, He humbly appears impoverished; entering my body, He wears tattered and soiled robes.
Like a mani jewel, His light illuminates the great thousandfold world; if one does not follow Him, one remains forever in a dark abode.
Compared to Him, I am filled with shame and remorse; today I vow to learn from Him, to emulate Him.
Cleansing away defilements, removing ignorance; revealing His nobility, manifesting my virtuous capabilities.
With the two perfections of blessings and wisdom, He embodies eternal bliss, true self, and purity; perfecting all, His wisdom-sun shines brightly.
Dedication: We dedicate all merits from Dharma propagation and group practice on our online platform to all sentient beings of the Dharma Realm and to the people of the world. May the world be at peace, free from war; may conflict cease and weapons forever rest; may all disasters completely subside! May the people of all nations unite in mutual aid, treating one another with compassion; may favorable weather prevail and nations prosper in tranquility! May all beings deeply believe in cause and effect, harbor compassionate hearts free from killing; may they widely form virtuous connections and cultivate wholesome deeds; may faith in the Buddha and learning the Dharma grow their virtuous roots; may they understand suffering, cease its causes, aspire to cessation, and cultivate the path; may the door to evil destinies close and the path to Nirvana open! May Buddhism flourish eternally and the true Dharma abide forever; may the burning house of the Triple Realm transform into the Lotus Land of Ultimate Bliss!
