Yogācārabhūmi-śāstra: Volume 34 (10)

Seasonal changes refer to the phenomenon where, in autumn and winter, the herbs, flowers, leaves, and fruits in the forests wither, yellow, and fall. In spring and summer, the branches, leaves, flowers, and fruits of the forests and herbs grow lush and flourishing.

That which is consumed by fire refers to great fires raging unchecked, burning villages and settlements, reducing cities, capitals, and royal palaces entirely to ashes.

That which is submerged by water refers to great floods spreading widely, inundating villages and settlements, submerging cities, capitals, and royal palaces entirely.

That which is desiccated by wind refers to when strong winds blow fiercely, causing damp clothing, moist land, crops, and forests to dry out and grow increasingly dry and withered.
