In interpersonal relationships, sincere communication stems from the genuineness of manas, while false pretense and perfunctory behavior are disguises of consciousness. Tacit understanding refers to the harmonious coordination between manas, where words are unnecessary, expressions unneeded—a meeting of minds with a single glance. When manas can cooperate tacitly, it indicates that both individuals are intelligent and mutually comprehend one another. Conversely, no matter how consciousness uses language to express and explain, if the other party fails to grasp it, it reveals that person's dullness. Thus, true wisdom and intelligence must refer exclusively to manas; great wisdom, courage, and strategy must refer to manas. Cleverness, on the other hand, belongs to the intelligence of consciousness, which proves useless at critical moments.
Whether a person possesses great wisdom, high emotional and intellectual intelligence, must refer to manas, not consciousness. Consciousness consists solely of schemes and strategies, which become ineffective when the environment or scenario changes—especially during life-and-death crises, where they are utterly useless. Generally, those with great wisdom speak little and prefer silence, for manas is inherently profound and wordless. Those with mere cleverness enjoy showcasing themselves, scheming and maneuvering—this aligns with the nature of consciousness.
