Contemplating the Preciousness and Rarity of Wisdom

"Many highly intelligent individuals often tend to rely more on intuition rather than rational thinking when making decisions." This is the perception among worldly people. Why is it that none among our many Buddhist practitioners possesses such observational power and awareness? This includes all Buddhist masters.

Those in society engaged in philosophy, psychology, and sociology possess extraordinary observational wisdom, far surpassing that of practitioners within our Buddhist community. Why is the wisdom within the Buddhist community so diminished? Whether professional or amateur, the thinking and observational abilities of debaters are appalling. They only know how to rely on people, not the Dharma. With such weak powers of observation, how can they possibly rely on the Dharma? If all kinds of elites in society were to study Buddhism and practice, what would Buddhism be like?
