While pacing in the room contemplating an issue, identify the activities of the five aggregates at this moment and observe them clearly. What is the form aggregate doing? Where is the feeling aggregate, and in what state is it? Which one is the perception aggregate, and what is it thinking? How is the volitional formation aggregate operating, and where is it present? What are the objects and states cognized by each of the six consciousnesses within the consciousness aggregate?
Then, in meditative concentration, slowly and deeply observe and contemplate their nature of arising, ceasing, changing, and impermanence, comprehend their nature of suffering, and confirm their nature of non-self.
