At that time, he has completely and permanently exhausted the greed arising from contact with the six dusts, completely and permanently exhausted the hatred arising from contact with the six dusts, and completely and permanently exhausted the delusion arising from contact with the six dusts. Because greed, hatred, and delusion are all permanently exhausted, he no longer commits any evil deeds but cultivates all wholesome dharmas. His mind is like empty space and pure water, like wondrous sandalwood fragrance. He is universally revered and offered worship by all heavenly emperors and heavenly kings. Abiding in the realm of Nirvana with residue, he has crossed the ocean of birth and death and reached the other shore. This is also called upholding the final body-existence.
