The consciousness emerging from the womb does not truly emerge from the womb; it is provisionally termed "emerging from the womb." The consciousness entering the body does not truly enter the body; it is provisionally termed "entering the body." The consciousness departing from the body does not truly depart from the body; it is provisionally termed "departing from the body." The consciousness of Nirvana is not truly Nirvana; it is provisionally termed "Nirvana."
The eighth consciousness is profoundly burdened, serving as both father and mother, nurturing several ignorant children. Thus, its capabilities have limitations, allowing these ignorant children to follow their own good or evil inclinations. It provides sustenance yet permits the creation of karma, causing the seven consciousnesses to wander through beginningless kalpas, creating evil without turning back. Yet the Mother never abandons her children, cherishing them dearly.
