The six sense objects contacted by the six consciousnesses are all signals transmitted from the fundamental realm, also known as information. Regardless of what the five sense objects are like, they become information when they reach the black box. What is perceived by the six consciousnesses is also information and shadows, yet they are mistakenly taken as three-dimensional, colorful sense objects. How can this be proven? It can be understood from the information distinguished by the eyes and ears through mobile phones and computers. The information on mobile phones and computers, though consisting of text, images, videos, and sounds, is merely the information received by the devices; there is no actual text, images, videos, or sounds present.
For example, consider an online group with one hundred members. Each person communicates within the group via mobile phones and computers, viewing text, images, and videos in the group space, and listening to voice messages. However, the content each person sees and hears belongs solely to their own subtle sense faculties (the black box) and is not shared with others. Therefore, if one deletes any information on their own mobile phone or computer, it has no effect on others, and others remain unaware. Moreover, no matter how others handle this information, it has no impact on the original fundamental realm.
How does this information appear? When one person types on their mobile phone, the text they produce belongs to the fundamental realm. The signals are transmitted through the medium of the phone, and others' phones receive these signals, which are then conveyed into their subtle sense faculties. The six consciousnesses arise to distinguish, and what they distinguish is information—not actual text, images, videos, or sounds. Yet the six consciousnesses forcefully perceive this information as specific forms and sounds, demonstrating that the discernment of the six consciousnesses is illusory. Furthermore, all phenomena within the black box are entirely information and signals; there are no substantial, concrete six sense objects—only shadows. Thus, everything distinguished by the six consciousnesses is entirely illusory phenomena.
