All the Dharma taught by the Buddha points toward liberation; every dharma tends toward nirvāṇa, every dharma never departs from nirvāṇa, and there is not a single dharma outside of nirvāṇa. The Dharmakāya is prajñā; prajñā is liberation; liberation is nirvāṇa. None of these ever depart from tathatā. All dharmas are spoken in dependence upon tathatā, and all are dharmas of liberation. Since tathatā is without bondage, all dharmas are without bondage; when tathatā is liberated, all dharmas are liberated. When the one is true, all is true; when the one is liberated, all is liberated.
Material form does not bind tathatā; sounds, smells, tastes, tangibles, and dharmas do not bind tathatā—tathatā is itself liberation. Form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma exist in dependence upon tathatā. When material form is empty, there is liberation in that very moment; when sounds, smells, tastes, tangibles, and dharmas are empty, there is liberation in that very moment; when the eye faculty is empty, there is liberation in that very moment; when the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind faculties are empty, there is liberation in that very moment; when the eye consciousness is empty, there is liberation in that very moment; when the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind consciousnesses are empty, there is liberation in that very moment. Among all worldly and world-transcending dharmas, there is not a single dharma that is not liberated. The great way of liberation is right before your eyes; worthy one, discern it for yourself, attain liberation yourself, and realize nirvāṇa yourself!
