The matter we perceive is, in fact, aggregates of particles formed by the four elements, lacking any substantial solid form. The constant arising, ceasing, variation, and transformation of these particles are phenomena caused by the Tathagatagarbha through the process of transmitting and retrieving the seeds and subtle particles of the four elements. Therefore, since the Tathagatagarbha corresponds and interacts with external form dharmas, and all particles of the four elements belong to the Tathagatagarbha, it is not a matter of whether the Tathagatagarbha "touches" the particles of the four elements or the six external dusts. The Tathagatagarbha transmitting these particles of the six external dusts to any location is also within its inherent function and instinct. If a person possesses immeasurable manifestations, it is not surprising that their own Tathagatagarbha transmits the six external dusts to those countless manifestations. Using the seeds of the four elements, the Tathagatagarbha can generate immeasurable, boundless material form dharmas through varying quantities and different arrangements and combinations – a feat our consciousness cannot fathom. Because our merit is limited, wisdom is limited, and virtuous capabilities are limited, obscured by ignorance and afflictions, our knowledge and understanding are severely constrained. Therefore, we must eliminate ignorance, afflictions, and habitual tendencies, remove the obscurations covering our mind-ground, in order to expand the capacity and perspective of our mind, increase wisdom to its ultimate limit, and attain the state of wisdom like that of a Buddha.
