When Concentration Is Insufficient, One Cannot Attain Enlightenment and Achieve Spiritual Awakening

Observe the body down to its minutest cellular components; within the cells are various particles. These particles are composed of the four fundamental particles, which themselves are formed from the four fundamental seeds within the Tathagatagarbha. The four fundamental seeds are formless and without characteristics, originating from the Tathagatagarbha. The Tathagatagarbha outputs the four fundamental seeds, which form particles. These particles then aggregate into the most minute matter, which further aggregates into slightly larger matter, becoming visible to the naked eye. They then gradually aggregate into the initial physical body, and finally, when the physical body is complete, it emerges from the mother's womb. From this, it is known that the physical body is empty, subject to birth and cessation, and devoid of self. It is born from the Tathagatagarbha and upheld by the Tathagatagarbha; entirely of the nature of the Tathagatagarbha. This body is merely a transformation brought about by the functional activity of the seeds within the Tathagatagarbha; it is a part of the Tathagatagarbha's function, an attribute of the Tathagatagarbha. It possesses no attributes or self-nature of its own. While such observation may seem easy, lacking the corresponding power of concentration (samadhi), the mental faculty cannot engage, cannot personally participate in profound and subtle observation and contemplation. Consequently, one cannot realize this truth. Without the power of concentration, the mental faculty cannot acknowledge or authenticate it, making it impossible to eradicate the view of the body and the view of self, nor to realize the Tathagatagarbha.
