Original text:言圣住者。谓空住无愿住。无相住。灭尽定住。言天住者。谓诸静虑。诸无色住。言梵住者。谓慈住悲住喜住舍住。又于尔时。至极究竟。毕竟无垢。毕竟证得梵行边际。离诸关键。已出深坑。已度深堑。已能摧伏彼伊师迦。是为真圣。摧灭高幢。已断五支。成就六支。

Explanation: The so-called noble abode refers to abiding in emptiness, abiding in wishlessness, abiding in signlessness, and abiding in the cessation of perception and feeling. The so-called divine abode refers to the various states of meditative concentration (dhyāna) and the abodes of the formless realms. The so-called Brahmā abode refers to abiding in loving-kindness, abiding in compassion, abiding in joy, and abiding in equanimity. Furthermore, at that time, having reached the utmost ultimate, being utterly without defilement, one has ultimately attained the far shore of the pure holy life, departed from all critical points, already climbed out of the deep pit, already crossed the deep chasm, and already been able to crush that lofty mountain of conceit—one is a true noble one, having destroyed the banner of towering pride, already severed the five afflictive outflows of greed, hatred, delusion, conceit, and doubt, and accomplished the six virtues of precepts, meditation, wisdom, liberation, and the knowledge and vision of liberation.
