Explanation: One always guards the four requisites of food, clothing, bedding, and medicine, is most extremely removed from all worldly dharmas, liberated without obstruction, holding solely to one truth in the mind, having no longing for the world of the five aggregates, with pure thought free of defilement, at ease and tranquil in bodily conduct whether coming, going, or stopping, without any attachment, the mind well liberated, wisdom well liberated, in the world the mind has no dharma as its companion, is not bound to any dharma, and does not possess the characteristics of any dharma. The right practice has already been established; this is called having drawn near to the unsurpassed great man, the World-Honored Buddha, and having fully accomplished the six ever-abiding dharmas, namely, after the eye sees forms, there is neither joy nor sorrow, abiding in lofty equanimity, with right mindfulness and right awareness. Likewise, after the ear hears sounds, the nose smells scents, the tongue tastes flavors, the body feels tangibles, and the mind discerns dharmas, in each case there is neither joy nor sorrow, abiding in lofty equanimity, with right mindfulness and right awareness.
